Baddeleys are an independent firm of Residential Chartered Surveyors and Registered Home Inspectors specialising in RICS Homebuyer Reports, Home Condition Reports, Energy Reports, Home Information Packs and Energy Performance Certificates.

Unlike many of the larger firms of surveyors we are not connected with any estate agents, banks or insurance companies and can therefore offer a fully independent opinion. Our clients include leading Banks and Building Societies, though the majority of our instructions are received as a result of personal recommendation, with many satisfied customers returning to us over the years when they decide to move again. Home Information Packs (HIPs) are now a reality and most people assume that the Estate Agent is the only way to obtain a HIP.

This is not the case. We can supply the complete Pack or home-owners can use their own Solicitor to prepare the legal elements of the Pack and obtain the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) separately from us. We will then liase with the solicitor involved and assist in preparing the pack.
